C-Tran "The Vine"
Boarding Platforms & Relief Center

4th and Mill Plain Blvd  |  Vancouver, WA

The launch of The Vine implements a modern, enhanced transit line along the Fourth Plain (Green) and Mill Plain (Red) corridors. With routes operating from downtown Vancouver to Vancouver Mall, as well as Fort Vancouver Way to Mill Plain Transit Center, an easier commute is offered to the public. The bus rapid transit system replaces C-Tran’s Route 4 while greatly improving reliability, mobility, capacity and operations on C-Tran’s highest ridership corridor.

The boarding platforms of The Vine are a shift from the traditional construction, showcasing a design that communicates a more modern vision of public transportation. Each site is composed of sprung vertical elements supporting a dynamic cantilevered roof, a distinguishable illuminated logo, wayfinding elements, new traffic signal technology and community-inspired functional public art.
