VA WALLA WALLA
Rixir worked in collaboration with architects and state officials in establishing a new 80-resident State Veterans Home in southeastern Washington. The new site provides long-term residency and addresses access and capacity needs for high quality nursing care of Veterans in southeastern Washington.
Working across all touchpoints of the project, Rixir fabricated and installed monument signs, marquee signage, vehicle wayfinding, interior directories, blade signs, ADA panel signs, profile lettering and metal military plaques.
Signage took on extra importance with this project, as establishing clear wayfinding increases clarity of direction not only for residents but also for visitors.
Special Manufacturing
Methods & Materials:
Top cap made of ½" solid aluminum, finished in metallic bronze & satin clear.
Custom fabricated ½” Aluminum letters with random orbital finish.
Triple-sealed wood core comprised of
44 laminated Douglas fir glulam beams.
Engineered epoxy coated steel brackets & stainless-steel hardware.

INTERIOR PANEL SIGN & DIRECTORIES
The interior panel signs and wayfinding directories are very unique. Fabricated with clear pine, custom tinted to match exiting building theme color. Each sign is then affixed to an aluminum profile bracket manufactured in house and finished in anodized dark bronze.
